Belgian companies take centre stage at global trade fair

Threedee World and The Media House Europe are proud to announce the launch of MiB 2025, an innovative virtual event that offers Belgian companies, associations and organisations the unique opportunity to profile themselves worldwide.

MiB2025 is organised in collaboration with various professional and sector federations and will take place from 1 January 2025 to 13 October 2025 during the World Expo in Osaka, Japan.
The MiB App will be launched in January 2025, MIF World in April 2025.



Virtual Booths and Showrooms - Participating companies will receive a virtual stand in MiB World, equipped with various interactive functionalities. Visitors can easily navigate through MiB World via the interactive map and participate in events free of charge.

Revolutionary technology - MiB 2025 uses advanced AI-powered “robotars” to provide an interactive and engaging experience for attendees. These AI-powered assistants respond to actions and questions from real attendees, provide multilingual support, and collect valuable data to optimize the platform experience.

Sectors and Theme Districts - The virtual fair is divided into six thematic districts, each focusing on specific sectors such as Technology and Innovation, Sustainability and Environment, Transport and Logistics... This ensures a targeted and relevant exchange of knowledge and ideas between exhibitors and visitors.

🔰 The OrganisationFounded in 2020, Threedee World is a Belgian scale-up specializing in digitizing events and showrooms. Together with The Media House Europe, winner of the Benelux Event Awards, they are the driving force behind MIB 2025.

What is MiB 2025?

Made In Belgium 2025 (#MiB2025) is a combination of the MiB App (similar to a social media app with all its known functionalities (and even more) and a virtual world in 3D, AR and VR (accessible via smartphone, tablet, computer, Smart TV, VR glasses, etc.), called MiB World, where 2D and 3D merge seamlessly…

MiB 2025 is intended to promote Belgium and its Belgian companies, associations, organisations and even artists in collaboration with various sector federations in the world as an enterprising and progressive region and to allow them to connect, network, interact… with each other and with visitors (B2B and B2C) and to do business.

By using advanced technologies and an interactive virtual environment, MiB 2025 aims to connect companies with potential partners, investors and customers worldwide, thus contributing to their growth and success in the global market.

Objectives

  • A download section to download brochures, catalogues, etc.

Transitioning to digital platforms lowers energy consumption at venues, cutting down on resource usage and waste generation. Additionally, by encouraging remote work and reducing reliance on physical office spaces, we further diminish energy consumption and emissions associated with commuting. Join us in our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future for events.

Belgian Dome

In the past decades, Belgium has fallen behind significantly in the field of e-commerce.

This lag is mainly attributed to a relatively slow digital adoption, limited investments in digital infrastructure and a less developed e-commerce culture compared to other (European) regions.

While international e-commerce giants such as Amazon, Shein and Alibaba have taken a dominant position worldwide, many Belgian companies have struggled to adapt to the rapidly changing digital market.

Although the situation has improved in recent years due to an increase in online shopping and initiatives to promote digital skills, Belgium still lags behind frontrunners such as the Netherlands and Germany.

This has consequences for the competitive position of Belgian companies on the international market.

By offering Belgian e-commerce companies a place in the Belgian Dome, we want to give them a boost to stand on the international stage.

Belgian companies can regain a share of the market with unique 3D stores that provide an immersive shopping experience linked to their own e-commerce platform or the MiB 2025 Marketplace.

By using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), customers can virtually walk through stores, view products from all sides, attend interactive demonstrations and even interact with other shoppers present.

This offers an experience that comes close to physical shopping, which can be a great advantage in the competitive e-commerce market.

By applying data analysis for personalized recommendations, companies can suggest products based on previous purchases and customer preferences.
